Objective

This is the fifth year of the Blue Mold Information Service, provided by A.E.R.E.T. (European Association for Tobacco Research and Experimentation). The objective of the Service is, to compile and disseminate information about outbreaks and development of blue mold in the European - Mediterranean zone to support tobacco producers for a better control of the disease. Additionally, we will go on with the work on Metalaxyl sensitivity / resistance, to have as soon as possible an overview about the blue mold population. Therefore, in case of blue mold observations, please send samples to the University of Hohenheim/Germany. For details, please get in contact with me!

The Service will start on March, 1st and will end on September, 30th.
